Wild Rumpus

Friday, October 24 at 4:30pm
Roosevelt Center, 131 Centerway
Come to a costume party for kids and kids at heart on Friday, October 24 at 4:30pm in Roosevelt Center. Wear your Halloween or cosplay costume or other fancy dress and join the celebration! Enjoy community performances on the plaza followed by trick-or-treating with the Roosevelt Center merchants and a short film at the Greenbelt Cinema. No pre-registration required. All ages welcome! No gore or violent imagery, please.

Trunk or Treat

Friday, October 24 from 5-7pm
Beltway Plaza Mall, 6000 Greenbelt Road
Join Greenbelt Police Department for Trunk or Treat, a safe and festive evening where candy will be distributed from decorated vehicles. Trunk or Treat is located in the parking lot behind Beltway Plaza Mall and runs from 5-7pm. This year the event is held in partnership with Franklin Park, Mission BBQ, and the Fire Department. Additionally, the Greenbelt Pumpkin Festival’s final pumpkin carving is taking place alongside Trunk or Treat.

Greenbelt Farmers Market

Sunday, October 26 from 10am – 2pm
Parking Lot Behind Municipal Building, 25 Crescent
On Sunday shop for fresh, nutritious, high-quality food grown or produced in the region. It’s a great opportunity to connect with the community around the lovely Roosevelt Center and support local vendors. Located in the parking lot behind the Greenbelt Municipal Building.

During the Week

Lend a hand in the parks and then hit the streets for some trick-or-treating.

Gardening Get Together

Join City Staff and Community Members as we work to maintain the Pollinator Gardens at Buddy Attick Park! Activities will include mulching, weeding, and planting native perennial species. Weather permitting, this event is held on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm through October.

Halloween

The City of Greenbelt wishes all a safe and happy Halloween. Trick-or-treating is not an official City of Greenbelt event. If you and/or your children decide to participate, recommended trick-or-treating hours in Greenbelt are from 6-8pm.
