With the warmer weather, more children are enjoying time outside. Please help keep the community safe by driving slowly and attentively on all neighborhood streets and alleyways and following the speed limits.

If you observe any vehicles speeding, call the City of Greenbelt Police Non-Emergency Line at (301) 474-7200 to report the incident.

To protect the safety of the children and residents, playing in alleyways and roadways is strictly prohibited. Please encourage children to use play areas away from traffic.

In accordance with Policy Resolution 2024-1, all field or court sports involving projectiles, including, but not limited to, football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, golf, frisbee, kickball, lawn darts, hockey, tennis, and rugby, are not permitted in the Common Areas. This includes sidewalks, walkways, alleyways, and streets. Additionally, the installation or temporary placement of sports equipment such as basketball hoops or goals in these areas is also prohibited.
